When I was in Grade 7，I didn't do well in English first.I was too shy to speak to others in English and I was poor in writing.As a result，I was afraid of having English lessons and I was not confident enough.
Luckily，after I turned to my teacher for help，she gave me some useful advice.I started to listen to English songs and read English newspapers，which helped enlarge my vocabulary.In addition，I joined an English club to practice my spoken English.I became more and more interested in English and I've already made great progress.
Now I understand that I should learn to face challenges with confidence and insist on learning English.Nothing is impossible for a willing heart.
